Get To Know Me

I am a graduate student at the University of Washington specializing in Robotics and AI. My research work is focussed on planning and control in building production level quality algorithms. I believe my approach in providing efficient solutions at the right time defines me the most over my academic excellence and merit scholarships.

With the skills and experience I have obtained so far, I like to apply them to deal critical problems in projects through creativity. I can confidently say that I am organized and flexible to work independently as well as in a team.

If you are seeking a collaborative and creative problem-solver who communicates effectively, I look forward to an opportunity to speak with you. You are invited to explore my work below.

What I’ve Done

June 2022 - Present

Software and Field Test Engineering Intern, DARPA RACER Program, UW

  • Currently, working on planning and control for Level 4 autonomous high-speed off-road vehicle

  • Contributing algorithms for handling terrain elevation in a model predictive local planner, recovery mode, and autonomy status.

April 2017 - February 2020

Captain, Designer and Driver at Off-road Racing - Team Spardhak, NIT Warangal

  • Captained 25-member team

  • Gave seminars on vehicle dynamics | Developed graphical visualization to get the running status of the vehicle in the race

  • Developed problem-solving skills, strong critical thinking under pressure through the experience in race driving and team collaboration

January 2022 - June 2022

Graduate Student Researcher

Autonomous Systems @ Ultra Precision Controls Laboratory, UW

  • Worked on path planning via vision for non-linear models using Feedback Linearization

  • Wrote obstacle avoidance algorithm to maintain multi-robot formation while navigation

  • Achieved making robots track each other in visually defined paths using computer vision and sensor fusion techniques

  • Built state-space models for different objectives and obtained stable PID along with UI development

January 2021 - July 2021

Research and Development, Graduate Engineer

Bajaj Auto Limited, Pune, India

  • Discovered and validated a technique to find the precise cabin volume of any closed car

  • Developed an algorithm with Python to find optimum HVAC design parameters

  • Validated in real-time for different cars using data acquisition system | Validation Accuracy: > 95%
